Car Clinic is a specialist in SMART (Small-Medium-Area-Repair-Techniques) repairs. A family business based on the Gold Coast we believe our unique, fully mobile service will benefit residential customers, fleet operators, car hire companies and new & used car dealerships with a significantly less costly method of rectifying unsightly paint blemishes and minor damage to the body of their car, caravan, motorcycle or boat. We also have an in house body shop facility for larger jobs (conditions apply) and most repairs will generally fall under your insurance excess.
Minor vehicle damage like dents, scuffs and scratches to panels, bumpers, wheel arches, alloy wheels are inevitable in today's driving conditions. Vehicle owners have invariably made a substantial investment and are anxious to maintain their purchases in pristine condition - thus protecting the residual value.

Panel Surface Scratches
Only the scratched area itself is repaired and not the entire panel. The scratch is sanded and/or filler/primer applied to re-instate the damaged surface to its true level. The area is then re-coloured, lacquered and blended into the adjacent panel area to provide a perfect match to the factory finish each time.
Side Mirror Casings
Exterior mirror casings which have become cracked or scuffed, need not be fully painted or replaced. Matching colour is applied to the plastic component then lacquered to ensure remedial works exactly replicate the original factory fitted item.
Stone Chips
Paint is mixed to match the car and spray applied into the chip itself. Although not as aesthetically pleasing as a full panel re-spray, it is a cheaper alternative, which reduces the contrast between primer and colour coat whilst providing a degree of protection against the onset of corrosion.
Alloy Wheels
Kerbed and scuffed alloys if left un-repaired can result in the spread of oxidation leading to more expensive repairs at a later date. Without removing the wheel from the tyre or even the wheel from the vehicle we can repair paint damage on site restoring the wheel to its original factory finish.

Bumper Bars
Exterior mouldings, mirror casings, bumpers and motorcycle fairings, which have become cracked, need not necessarily be replaced. In many cases plastic welding can remedy the crack and subsequent re-finishing techniques makes the part look as good as new at a fraction of replacement costs.
